To get to Francine Delany New School for Children
From I-240: Take I-240 to exit 1, Brevard Road. If you're coming from the west (I-26, Brevard, Tennessee) turn left at the top of the ramp onto Brevard Road North (#191). You'll go back across the highway and up the hill. If you're coming from the east (downtown Asheville, Black Mountain, Weaverville) turn right at the top of the ramp onto Brevard Road North (#191) and go up the hill. Look for our sign on the left in about 3/4th of a mile. Brevard Road ends at Haywood Road about 1/4 mile past our school, so if you get to Haywood Road, you've gone a little too far. Park in the asphalt parking lot. The school's office is in the first modular in the row of modulars, set back a little from the others.
From West Asheville: Take Haywood Road to Brevard Road (right next to Atkinson's Furniture store). Turn south onto Brevard Road (it's the only way you can turn onto Brevard Road), and look for our sign on the right in about 1/4 mile. Park in the asphalt parking lot. The school's office is in the first modular in the row of modulars, set back a little from the others.
