Francine Delany New School For Children

I began my teaching career in south Texas in 1996 and have been teaching at Francine Delany since 2001.  I have experience, ranging from the primary grades through middle school.  I have worked as both a teacher of exceptional children as well as a regular classroom teacher during my career. At FDNSC I have taught first, second, third, and sixth grades. I began teaching in South Texas and moved from Austin to North Carolina in 2001 after completing my Master's degree at the University of Texas.  I am a certified elementary classroom teacher, exceptional children’s teacher, and reading specialist. I completed my National Board Certification in literacy in 2008.
