Francine Delany New School For Children

I am a graduate of Teacher's College Reading Institute.  I started my teaching career in 1999 at Evergreen Community Charter school. I taught a Kindergarten/1^st grade combination class for three years and then a straight kindergarten for 3 years. After the birth of my first daughter I decided to be a little more part-time.  I coordinated Evergreen’s Title I program, mentored teachers, and taught technology to 1^st through 5^th graders.  During the eight years that I was at Evergreen I sat on the Board of Directors for 3 years, chaired the School Improvement Team and was on the curriculum committee. I began teaching at FDNSC in 2008.  I shared a classroom with Melissa Murphy and coordinated the Title One Program.  I feel very at home and blessed to be a part of the Francine Delany family. In 2010 began working on my National Board Certification.
