FDNSC relies heavily on volunteer involvement. Many of the activities at FDNSC would not be possible without our amazing PTO. The PTO is broken up into several different groups. PTO Officers: President and Vice-President This group is responsible for setting bi-monthly meetings, contacting event chairs, creating a monthly board report, and keeping the energy high.
Event Chairs Event chairs are responsible for planning the event they sign up for. For example, sign up for the event that you are interested in helping plan and run. We know that time is precious, and that sometimes we have to pick and choose where we can put our energies.
Classroom Parents You are responsible for creating a way of communicating information to your child's classroom (phone-tree, email list-serve, Google group, etc.), attending PTO meetings, and soliciting volunteers for larger events (Chili Dinner, Spring Fling, etc.). When PTO needs to get the word out about and events, we rely on you to get the word out to our classroom communities.
