We follow the same Arts Philosophy laid out in the North Carolina Standard Course of Study. Giles and Susan Collard-Movement Susan and Giles Collard have been teaching as a team for twenty three years. Their passion and dedication for the fine and performing arts have inspired preschoolers through high school age children. Together they create dance theater productions as well as specializing in age appropriate movement theater curriculums for private and public schools.They have taught locally and internationally including social and folk dance as an integral part of the "elements of dance". They believe that "everyone, everywhere is a dancer." Lissa Pedersen-Visual Arts I have always loved to make art. After I earned my BFA in Print, Paper, & Book Arts from Rutgers U. in NJ, I bought a van and traveled with my dog all across America making art in various places along the way. I returned to NYC just before 9/11. Undeterred, I entered & completed Columbia U.’s Teacher’s College Art Education Masters Program in 2005. Since that time I have taught at both public & private schools. I started at Francine Delany in the fall of 2010, and I absolutely love it.
